Item Details - Callistemon - Bottlebrush standard

Stunning exotic plant for a sunny sheltered spot.

Callistemons originate from Australia and are often known as 'Bottlebrushes' due to the shape of the bristley (usually red) flowers that appear throughout June and July.

They prefer full sun, a light well drained soil and really must be given a sheltered spot to do well. Pruning can be done after the plant has finished flowering to keep it tidy. But take care as you can prune out next years flowering stems!

This plant we are offering has been grown as a standard and would make a superb exotic looking talking point in any garden. Each plant is approximately 1m 20cms tall including the pot.

Please note that the specimens we are selling have already flowered for this year, but still look impressive with the new leaf growth on them. The second picture we provide shows the type of flower as an example only.
