These scented trailing Pansies have excellent weather tolerance with a long flowering period. Plant in April or May for summer colour. Alternatively you can plant baskets in August and September to give a display of flowers throughout the winter. Under the right conditions they can trail in excess of 150cm, covered from tip to toe in masses of tiny 'viola' like flowers.

When planting your trailing viola plug plants water well, and lightly pinch growing tips of side shoots, this will encourage a bushy plant. Three plants in a 12" basket or 4/5 plants in 14" basket is sufficient as these violas are very fast growing. Pinching during growing is also recommended to keep a bushy, tidy plant. They can grow in full sun to partial shade, keep moist at all times but do not over water.
