You are buying Edelweiss Lavender plug plants.

These are large plug plants approximately 30mm x 40mm. These plants have been in winter dormancy, but will grow away very quickly once planted in new soil.

Lavender Edelweiss is a compact bushy fully hardy, evergreen shrub, with silver grey, highly aromatic foliage. Pure white flower spikes are produced early summer, right through to late Autumn. These flowers are often dried and used for pot puree or dried flower arrangements among many other uses. They are great for attracting butterflies and bees.

Lavender Edelweiss makes an ideal hedge, slightly taller than Munstead Lavender, with a height of 60cm and spread of 75cm, the plants should always be cut back in early spring or after flowering, this helps to prevent dead wood from forming, making a neat and tidy bush.

Lavenders must have well drained soil as they are very drought tolerant and do not like to be kept too wet. They prefer full sun, although they will grow well in part or full shade. They prefer soil that is not over rich. Rich soil can diminish the aromatic scent.
