The Illumination series of tuberous begonias have a great trailing habit. They make a bushy cascading display in hanging baskets and patio containers all summer long. As its name suggests, the profuse flowers of this colour form are Salmon Pink.

These Begonia plug plants are of good size and after the first year the tubers can be saved in paper bag, in a cool dry place.  They prefer a rich but well drained soil and do well in partial shade. Their bushy habit and profusion of large flowers mean that they need a lot of room as they can easily fill a 14 inch hanging basket, or patio tub. They are also ideal for window troughs. The other plus is that the dead flowers just drop off, but do take care where they fall, as they can fall inside the other plants causing them to rot, if the plants are wet.

These Illumination Begonias are supplied as very well rooted healthy plug plants and are ready for potting straight into at least a 9cm pot. They are best grown on in a frost free greenhouse or indoors on a windowsill and planted out into the Hanging Basket or garden once fully established.
