These are still good size well rooted plugs, and in the right conditions will take approximately 10 to 12 weeks to flower.

During the summer months these Begonia plug plants will make a tuber and after the first year the tubers can be saved in paper bag, in a cool dry place.  They have a trailing habit but do need a lot of room as they can easily fill a 14 inch hanging basket ideal for window troughs. The other plus is that the dead flowers just drop off, but do take care where they fall, as they can fall inside the other plants causing them to rot, if the plants are wet.

These Pendula Begonia are supplied as very well rooted healthy plug plants and are ready for potting straight into at least a 9cm pot. They are best grown on in a frost free greenhouse or indoors on a windowsill and planted out into the Hanging Basket or garden once fully established. They prefer full sun, but will tolerate most conditions.
