R. officinalis is probably the most well known Rosemary. This is a hardy, evergreen herb often grown for it culinary and medical uses. It likes full sun and thrives in well drained, dry or light sandy soils. The plant itself can reach up to 1m high. In late spring the aromatic needle shaped leaves are joined by masses of small white, purple flowers, which are loved by bees. It is an essential element in any herb garden, and makes a superb addition to a hot, sunny or Mediterranean border. It can be also container grown.

These Herb Plugs are supplied as very well rooted healthy plug plants and are ready for potting straight into at least a 9cm pot. They are best grown on in a frost free greenhouse or indoors on a windowsill and planted out into the Hanging Basket or garden once fully established.
