Lavender Munstead is one of the most popular lavenders, it is a compact bushy fully hardy, evergreen shrub, with grey green highly aromatic foliage.
Bluish Purple flower spikes are produced early summer, right through to late Autumn, these flowers are often dried and used for pot puree, dried flower arrangements among many other uses.
Lavender Munstead makes an ideal low hedge with a height of 45cm and spread of 60cm, the plants should always be cut back in early spring or after flowering, this helps to prevent dead wood from forming, making a neat and tidy bush.
Lavenders must have well drained soil as they are very drought tolerant and do not like to be kept too wet, and prefer full sun, or though they will grow well in part or full shade.
These Lavender are well rooted cuttings.
