Pair Goldcrest spirals.
Cupressus macrocarpa.
These beautiful and versatile pair of conifers have lovely lime green foliage and the needles give off a lemony sent when crushed or clipped.
This plant has many uses. When small it is often used as an accent plant to give height to baskets and containers. Or it can be allowed to grow tall for hedging. These particular Goldcrest have been clipped to form spirals and will make a beautiful feature plant in any garden. They can be grown in pots or in borders. They will tolerate most soils, cope with full sun or part shade and are good in coastal regions. Feed during the growing season with a proprietry slow release or liquid fertilizer. The most important thing- especially when growing in pots- is that they are kept consistently moist. Do not allow them to dry out. To maintain the shape of your Goldcrest spiral, trim new growth with sharp shears. Once a month is usually sufficient.
The trees you are purchasing are ready for planting now. On receiving your trees immerse the rootballs in water making sure they are well soaked. Water in well after planting. Don't forget water is the key to success with these conifers.
